A ceaselessly violent, gnawing torrent of black/death barbarity and sulfurous ritualism that is equally atrocious and dark but still retains a certain Death Metal character in the songwriting. A cult name that lurked in the shadows for far too long, EMBALMED surpass 95% of what is being offered in the current "black/death" scene - worship or die!

I mean this is some weird shit. Suffocating dm, gritty sound and maniacal playing. But most bands will stretch these songs out to double the lengths here. Not Nexul - these songs are on fucking lockdown. "Paradigm of Chaos" the song is 22 seconds long and brings the Napalm Death spirit that I often crave. Did I mention the elongated spoken word passage and surprise piano near the end? Album cover also is like a "Magic Eye" pic from the 90s. I keep staring, to no avail. An awesome silver mystery.
